The Kingdom Counselor serves as a volunteer counselor within the OCBF Counseling Center, providing quality, ethical, and compassionate counseling services under the standards of professional practice and the supervision requirements of their applicable licensure board.
This opportunity is available to qualified mental health professionals who desire to serve as part of a Christ-centered counseling ministry while maintaining professional excellence, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Experienced/Skills: Currently licensed or eligible for clinical supervision as a:
- Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A)
- Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate (MFT-A)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Qualifications: Must currently be receiving clinical supervision from an approved supervisor according to applicable state licensing requirements. Open to fully licensed professionals, including:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Commitment to ethical counseling practices and maintaining professional boundaries
- Ability to complete required documentation and counseling records in accordance with ministry and professional standards
