2nd Mile Ministry

Must be an OCBF Member. The 2nd Mile is a flexible serving team for OCBF members who want to make a difference without a weekly commitment. For some, it's a way to go beyond the path every member walks. For others whose work schedules or life stage make a weekly service commitment difficult, it's a meaningful way to serve when life is busy. Whether it's community engagement, supporting a major event, or rolling up your sleeves for a hands-on project, 2nd Mile volunteers show up where they're needed most.

When you sign up, you'll choose the areas that interest you: community engagement, special events support, and projects & facilities. As opportunities arise in your areas, you'll receive an email and can sign up for those that fit your schedule. We ask every 2nd Mile volunteer to serve at least once each quarter.
